September 12: Book launch at the Twig in San Antonio Naomi Nye and Conversation with the Author

Join me and my friend and neighbor, rock star poet and all around beautiful human being, Naomi Nye, at the Twig for my official book launch. We’ll have a conversation about my book, The Monarch Butterfly Migration Its Rise and Fall.

The book has been called “important” with “propulsive writing” and uses our embrace of the monarch butterfly as a lens through which to view climate change and the tensions between advocacy and scientific accuracy, among other topics. In addition to calling for environmental sustainability, it reminds each of us to notice—and never take for granted—the natural wonders in our own backyards. –Monika
