October 4: Migration Matters FUNdraiser at Brackenridge Park

This adults-only event offers a full evening of enlightenment while also supporting Project Bloom, the nonprofit organization that stages San Antonio’s Annual Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival.

Tickets include light bites and drinks, lessons in birdwatching and monarch tagging, a screening of Lights Out Texas: A Documentary Film, and a discussion by me and Daniel Belleny, wildlife biologist, author, and birder extraordinaire. We’ll explore migration matters and the critical importance and state of animal movement. I’ll be signing books at the event.
