May 27 NPSOT Caddo Wildflowers: Monarch Butterfly Migration Author Talk via Zoom

Join us for a discussion about the changes in the monarch butterfly migration. We’ll discuss my recent book, The Monarch Butterfly Migration Its Rise and Fall, the pending Endangered Species Act listing, and the ongoing debate about milkweed and butterfly breeding.

We’ll also explore what YOU can do to help, like plant Plant with Purpose.

Beauty alone is no longer reason enough to choose a plant that will occupy valuable real estate in your landscape. We owe functional plants–plants that do more than look good–to the ecosystem.

So join us and the Caddo Wildflowers chapter of the Native Plant Society for a presentation/discussion about monarchs and choosing plants that go beyond beauty and actually give back to the ecosystem.
