September 25: Meet the Author at the Mason Public Library

Mason, Texas, is where my monarch butterfly deep dive began, on the banks of the Llano River. That’s where thousands of monarchs roost in the pecan grove across from our family’s ranch each fall. The spectacle captured my attention–and led to a decades-long fascination and exploration of the monarch butterfly migration.
